Rise of the Warriors II Tournament Matches:
Mason Childs vs Chris Hero (USA)
Last year's final is revisited as defending ROTW Champion Mason Childs faces off against the man he faced in the finals, Chris Hero. At Wrestlecrisis, Mason sent the challenge out after Chris Hero was confirmed for the tournament, saying he wanted to prove that last year's win was not a fluke. Hero has risen to the top of ROH, challenging World Champions and has toured with Pro Wrestling NOAH.
Esteban Molina vs Rancid (NSW)
A rematch from Dawn Of Chaos. Rancid has been on a path of destruction in 2008, losing only to Esteban. Rancid is out for vengeance but Molina is determined to step up and become a top player in PWAQ. One thing is for certain, both men will have to be on their A game to escape a first round loss!
Mark Davis vs Trik Davis (USA)
The new PWA Queensland champion faces his biggest challenge to date in the form of Trik Davis. Trik has established himself on the US Independant circuit and will be ready to make the most of his Australian opportunity.
Kyote vs Ash Riot
At Road To The Warriors, Kyote sent the challenge out to Riot. Riot's alliance to Queensland has been in question since January and has since become a loner amongst the PWA Queensland ranks. Both men have alot to prove to each other and to the rest of Australian Wrestling.
Blakestone (NSW) vs Seoul
The hardest chopper in Australia vs the hardest kicker in Australia. The Machine returns to PWAQ and has his sights set on PWA Nightmare. Mark Williamson has thrown forward Nightmare's deadliest gun, Seoul, to try and take Blakestone out of the tournament.
'The Extreme' James Blade vs Damian Slater (SA)
Two of PWAQ's top contenders will face off in a first time ever match. Both are known for their technical brilliance and are both top prospects to take out this year's tournament.
Robby Heart (SA) vs 'The Revolution' Rick Sterling
Both men have had superb showings in their limited time in PWAQ. Both men will be looking to make name's for themselves in this year's tournament, and both have the skill to do just that.
Champagne Pyro (VIC) vs 'Lyte Playa' Roger Ventura (NZ)
Victoria's finest faces New Zealand's finest in what will be an aerial war. The PWA Victorian Champion has claimed many times that 2008 will be his year, a win over Ventura and a win in this tournament would make that statement true. Ventura isnt coming all the way from Auckland just to be a stepping stone for Pyro. The former New Zealand Heavyweight Champion looks to establish himself as a force in Australia, much like Davey Deluxeo and Dal Knox did at the first Rise Of The Warriors.
